Senior QA Automation

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain automated test cases and continually improve automation coverage
  • Review and analyze the business and functional requirements, follow the test plans to produce appropriate test scripts, and produce the automated test
  • Report any problems or issues that may affect the agreed deadline to the line manager
  • Liaise with the necessary parties during the automation process to ensure that the implementation is delivered on time and of expected quality
  • Adopt a professional approach and behaviour when dealing with the business and user community
  • Contribute to the effectiveness of the Test Team by the sharing of technical and business knowledge
  • Carry out additional duties as directed in line with business needs

Skills
  • Degree in Informatics Engineering, Computer Science or similar areas
  • ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL)
  • Certified Tester Advanced Level Test Automation Engineering (CTAL-TAE)
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in the software testing field, with at least 3 years in leadership or coordination roles
  • Experience in different types of projects (web, mobile desktop, API’s, etc) and various sectors (financial sector experience is a plus).
  • Complete mastery of the testing lifecycle, from requirements analysis to execution and defect reporting
  • Mastery of Agile and traditional methodologies (V-Model)
  • Experience with tools like Postman, SoapUI, or Swagger for API testing (REST, SOAP) and protocols like HTTP/HTTPS, WebSocket, etc
  • Integration of performance tests in CI/CDD pipelines using Jenkins GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
  • Experience with frameworks like Selenium, Appium, Cypress, and automation tools like UFT ONE
  • Ability to communicate clearly, specially with development teams, to ensure efficient integration of automated tests
  • Ability to lead testing teams
  • Ability to identify risks and propose solutions to complex problems
  • Organization to handle deadlines and priorities across multiple projects
  • Fluent in English - written and spoken
