InnoWave is seeking a skilled and motivated Quality Assurance Consultant with a minimum of 5 years of experience in QA roles. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in both manual and automated testing methodologies, as well as hands-on experience with popular test tools. Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts to ensure software functionality meets requirements.
  • Perform manual and automated testing of front-end and back-end systems.
  • Use testing tools such as Selenium, Postman, Cucumber, Katalon, and Protractor to automate testing processes.
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to identify testing needs and create effective test strategies.
  • Participate in Agile SCRUM meetings to review progress and plan for upcoming sprints.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking tools like JIRA.
  • Ensure integration and functional testing are completed using version control tools (e.g., Git, GitHub, Bitbucket).
  • Provide clear and concise reports on testing progress, defects, and risks.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and contribute to quality assurance best practices.
Qualification
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar QA role.
  • Education: Undergraduate or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Testing Tools: Strong experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, Katalon, Protractor) and manual testing methodologies.
  • Programming Knowledge: Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or other scripting languages.
  • Platform Knowledge: Experience with different platforms (*nix, Windows).
  • Build Tools: Knowledge of build tools such as Maven.
  • Issue Tracking: Hands-on experience with issue tracking software (e.g., Atlassian JIRA).
  • Version Control: Familiarity with source control tools (e.g., Git, GitHub, Bitbucket).
  • Agile Methodologies: Strong experience working in Agile development environments (SCRUM).
  • Certification: ISTQB certification preferred but not mandatory.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
  • Travel Availability: Willingness to travel regularly for work.
